Energy Utilization Assessment of Municipal Sewage Sludge Based on SWOT-FAHP Analysis

Recently, due to the abundance of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus in municipal sewage sludge (MSS), energy potential MSS has become increasingly prominent. Economically developed regions possess more financial policy support advantages for development recovery technology; hence, selection appropriate treatment disposal technologies maximize is great importance. In this study, was evaluated on basis regional economies, analysis, a main reuse technology review legislative profile analysis. As most commonly adopted technology, incineration had lower potential, which may be ascribed high moisture content, costs difficulties situ recovery. contrast, anaerobic digestion, pyrolysis gasification relatively high. By conducting SWOT-FAHP management evaluation these four carried out from following perspectives: problem solving, development, ecological environment laws regulations. Pyrolysis suitable technical environmental perspectives because its products avoided heavy metal problems. The obstacles problems that might encounter commercial applications future are discussed. With energy-generating, low consumption, low-pollution would long run. These results revealed factors affecting sludge, comprehensively aspects impact, law, optimal solution obtained could provide reference decision economically areas future.
